Photographers at the Cannes Film Festival booed Pamela Anderson after she showed up late for a photo session Friday and stuck around only a few minutes to pose.

Anderson was at Cannes to promote her new movie, “Blonde and Blonder.” Earlier in the day, she had complained about the paparazzi, saying that the festival was “a frenzy, it’s crazy, it’s silly.”

“Even watching it on television this morning, seeing these people, it’s like the actors are prodded through like cattle, ‘Turn this way, turn that way,’ ” she said.

The 39-year-old former “Baywatch” star had said previously that she would not attend Cannes but later changed her mind.

“My kids come first even in my schedule,” said Anderson, who has two young sons with former husband Tommy Lee.

In “Blonde and Blonder,” Anderson co-stars with Denise Richards in what is being called “Dumb & Dumber” meets “Legally Blonde.”

Brush with Ludacris

Ludacris will make a cartoon cameo in the 400th episode of “The Simpsons” as a tube of toothpaste that raps, of all things. The 29-year-old rapper-actor, whose real name is Chris Bridges, portrays “Luda-Crest” in an informational video that brainy Lisa watches during the Simpsons’ annual dental checkup. The episode airs Sunday night on Fox.

Even goth rockers feel pain

Marilyn Manson says he was devastated over the breakup of his marriage to model and burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese. “I was completely destroyed. I had no soul left,” the 38-year-old glitzy goth rocker told Spin magazine.

Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, married Von Teese in November 2005. She filed for divorce last December. “She said she had tolerated the lifestyle because she hoped I would change and threatened to leave if I didn’t,” Manson says.

Scarlett, Queen of Scots

Scarlett Johansson, 22, will star as Mary, Queen of Scots, in an upcoming historical film epic directed by John Curran (“The Painted Veil”) and written by Jimmy McGovern.

Mary, a Roman Catholic, ruled Scotland from 1542 to 1567, but her designs on the throne of England – ruled by her Protestant cousin, Queen Elizabeth I – led to her beheading at the age of 44. Producers said the film would see Mary “battle political enemies, scheming allies, and affairs of the heart in her quest to reunite the warring tribes of her native Scotland.”

See, kids, learn a foreign tongue

Antonio Banderas says he’s flattered to have lent his voice to the character Puss in Boots in the animated “Shrek” films. “The fact that I arrived in this country without knowing a word in English and that years later they call on me only for my voice makes me feel proud,” the Spanish film star said.
