Jill Ritchie is finally acting her age.

After years of portraying younger characters, the 33-year-old actress is among her peers in VH1’s new half-hour comedy “I Hate My 30’s.”

“It felt really good to be surrounded and just working with people who were kind of close to my age,” says Ritchie, who played Lindsay Lohan‘s friend in 2005’s “Herbie Fully Loaded.”

During filming of the movie, Lohan was in her teens; Ritchie was in her late 20s.

“I Hate My 30’s, premiering tonight at 10:30 (cable channel 62 in Spokane, 42 in Coeur d’Alene) focuses on the challenges facing the grown-up children of the 1980s.

“It’s not your cookie cutter-type show,” Ritchie says. “And to take a risk, yes, there are going to be people who hate ‘I Hate My 30’s,’ but there are going to be people who absolutely – I guarantee you – love it.”

Her brother Bob – aka rap-rocker Kid Rock – hasn’t seen the show yet, but he’s pulling for it to be a hit.

Ritchie says she and her brother knew as kids growing up in a Detroit suburb that they would be professional entertainers.

“We’re both creative people,” she says.

Dope against hope

Speaking of Lindsay Lohan, she’s proclaiming her innocence after being arrested Tuesday on DUI and cocaine possession charges.

Police said they received a call from the frightened mother of Lohan’s personal assistant, who had just quit, saying Lohan was chasing her in an SUV. Cocaine was found in one of her pockets, they said.

“I am innocent … did not do drugs they’re not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin’s mom I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy,” Lohan wrote in an e-mail to “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush.

Dressed for classlessness

More on Britney Spears‘ infamous OK! magazine photo shoot: She reportedly watched her Yorkshire terrier puppy poop on a $6,700 designer gown, wiped grease on another and complained the clothes weren’t sexy enough.

After about three hours, she walked away with more than $14,000 of borrowed apparel.

The magazine will run a story – but no photos – on Friday.

Loose morals sink Paris

The families of Greek shipping heirs Stavros Niarchos, Paris Latsis and Chris Contogouris – all of whom have dated Paris Hilton – reportedly are joining forces against her.

“Letters have been exchanged between them,” a source told the New York Daily News. “It’s fine that (the sons) dated her, but they don’t want her in their families.”

Spaying his respects

Drew Carey, who’s replacing Bob Barker as host of “The Price is Right,” has promised to continue his sign-off: “Help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.”

“I was going to approach him about doing that, but I didn’t have to,” says Barker, 83. “I thanked him profusely.”
