Travel show coming Saturday

The annual Travel and Adventure Expo returns to the Spokane Convention Center on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an array of exhibitors, seminars and prize giveaways.

Travel agents, tour operators and apparel/gear retailers will be on hand to provide information. Seminars range from African safaris to the food and wine of Italy and France to travel tips from expert Anne McAlpin.

Grand prize is a seven-day cruise for two. Other prizes include a trip to Maui and a Canadian wine getaway, along with local packages.

There also will be a “fair trade” international marketplace and live entertainment.

New this year is a wine tasting, sponsored by Wild Alaska Cruises, featuring local wineries.

Tickets are $6 for the show, $9 for the show and wine tasting (with proper ID), through TicketsWest outlets (509-325-SEAT, 800-325-SEAT, www.ticketswest.com). Children under 12 are admitted free.
