Fairfield City Council – Council members decided to bring in an outside contractor to deal with code enforcement issues. The city engineer gave a report on water rights and water usage. An antiques show is being planned for May. (Source: Town Clerk Shelly Wood)

Fire District 13 (Newman Lake) – Commissioners voted to add a planning session meeting to be held on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Station 1, 10236 N. West Newman Lake Drive. Rockford City Council – Council members voted to purchase a new copier for the city office. An ordinance was passed amending zoning and development rules to prohibit people from living in RVs as a permanent residence. They also voted to give a two-year contract to the firm of Thomas Dean and Hoskins for on call service engineer work. (Source: City clerk)
