Hit-and-run info requested

Secret Witness of Kootenai County is offering a reward for tips leading to the arrest of the person who hit a 22-year-old pedestrian with their vehicle and drove off, leaving the injured woman lying in the road.

The hit-and-run happened at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 8 on Hanley Avenue in Coeur d’Alene, near the intersection with Pinegrove Drive, Coeur d’Alene police Sgt. Christie Wood said.

The woman suffered a head injury and injuries to her leg and hip.

Anyone with information on the hit-and-run is asked to call Secret Witness of Kootenai County at (208) 667-2111. Callers do not need to leave their name to be eligible for the reward.
