Mustafa Shakur and Marcus Williams led Arizona with 19 points apiece. Both had eight rebounds.

Ivan Radenovic added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Trailing by two, USC went on a 15-3 run early in the second half to take a lead it wouldn’t give up.

(3) UCLA 60, Arizona St. 50: At Los Angeles, Darren Collison scored 16 points to help the Bruins (16-1, 5-1) rally in the second half for a win over the Sun Devils (6-12, 0-7) and remain tied atop the conference.

Arron Afflalo added 13 points and Josh Shipp had 12 points after returning from a hamstring tear in time to outduel his little brother, Jerren, who had eight points for the Sun Devils.

Chris Polk scored 16 points to lead the Sun Devils.

(9) Oregon 66, Stanford 59: At Eugene, Ore., Aaron Brooks had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Ducks to a win against the Cardinal (11-5, 3-3).

Tajuan Porter added 15 points and Bryce Taylor scored 14 for the Ducks (17-1, 5-1), who are off to their best start in 80 years.

Brooks scored nine straight to give Oregon a 53-51 advantage with 5:04 to play. Oregon never trailed again.

California 77, Oregon St. 74: At Corvallis, Ore., Ryan Anderson and Ayinde Ubaka each had 22 points and the Bears (12-6, 4-2) continued their decade-long domination of the Beavers (10-9, 1-5) with a win.

Eric Vierneisel had all 13 of his points in the second half for California. Anderson, who also had eight rebounds, had his first 18 points before halftime.

Cal led by six with 1:42 left, hit 4 of 4 free throws in the final 17.4 seconds, and then held on when the Beavers couldn’t get the tying shot off before the game ended. Freshman Jack McGillis’ 3-pointer from the right side swished, but he let go of it after the horn.
