Andrew Dresback tossed in a game-high 20 points to lead the Freeman Scotties to a 58-40 boys basketball victory over Granger at the Tourneytown Tournament in Yakima on Monday.

Chris Davis added 10 points for the Scotties (9-4), who took the lead in the second quarter and never looked back.

Christian Casto grabbed 12 rebounds and Marc Soelberg chipped in with eight to guide Freeman to a 49-29 advantage on the boards.

Girls

Defending State B champion LaSalle dominated the second half en route to a 38-34 win over the Colfax Bulldogs at the Tourneytown Tournament in Yakima.

LaSalle trailed 22-12 at the half, but held Colfax (11-2) to just two points in the third quarter.

Meagan Teade had eight points and eight rebounds to pace the Bulldogs. Teammate Sadie Lazzarini added seven rebounds and three steals.

LaSalle’s Molly McGree scored half of her game-high 12 points in the pivotal third quarter.
