Isaac Fry’s pin over Cliff Chandler (189 pounds) at the 1-minute, 6-second mark in the final match of the night proved to be the difference as Lewis and Clark came from behind to defeat visiting Shadle Park (1-6) 39-37 in Greater Spokane League action. Sophomore Jesse Halley scored a surprise victory for the Tigers (2-4) in the 145-pound match with a pin of Jacob Rittenhouse at 5:18. … In other GSL action, North Central grabbed a healthy lead and held on to defeat host Rogers 54-18. Jeremy Voelker (275), Nathan Brown (103), Thomas Montague (135), Dillon Coy (145) and Mike Pursel (161) all scored pins for the Indians (4-3). Marc Geyer (119) and Nathan Harkness (125) recorded pins for the Pirates (0-8). In the back-and-forth 171 match, Drew Davis of Rogers pulled an escape and takedown in double overtime to earn the 5-2 victory over Frank Lappano.

“In the opening match of the night, Riverside’s Ronnie Stump (171) used a cradle near fall to score the deciding point and land a 7-6 win over Mitch Eggett as the visiting Rams went on to defeat Cheney 47-22 in Great Northern League action. Cheney’s Brandon Mosely forfeited at 285 after a second-round knee injury.

Boys basketball

Wyatt Peters finished with nine points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots, three steals and two assists Thursday night as host Lakeside cruised past Logos 73-35 in a non-league game in Plummer.

The Knights recorded 26 steals, with Alex Campbell leading the way with nine. Campbell also contributed five assists.

Merlin Weaslehead led a trio of three Lakeside players in double-figure scoring with 19 points.

Samuel Torpey added 12 points for the Knights and Peter Mahoney chipped in 10. Sam Kimmel led Logos with 11.
