Feature creature: Lorraine

Kim Lytle Correspondent The Spokesman-Review

Lorraine is a beautiful, athletic German shepherd cross that has been at the shelter since Jan. 3. She is shy at first, but once she spends a little time with you and knows she can trust you, she wants to be your best friend. She has been temperament tested and found to be very social and appears to have had some housetraining. She is very eager to please and would learn anything you wanted to teach her using gentle commands and positive reinforcement to build her confidence. Lorraine seems good with cats, and the behavior experts described her interactions with other dogs as “brilliant.” A quiet but active home would bring the best out in this great dog.

Come and meet her at SpokAnimal C.A.R.E, 710 N. Napa St. The telephone number is 534-8133. SpokAnimal is open every day. Adoption fees are $79.50 and include spay, rabies vaccine, license and microchip.
