No. 2 Stanford downs Washington in rout
Jeanette Pohlen scored a career-high 20 points, all in the second half, and the Stanford Cardinal defeated the Washington Huskies 77-42 on Sunday in Stanford, Calif.
Kayla Pedersen added 12 points and 12 rebounds as second-ranked Stanford (12-1, 2-0 Pac-10) handed Washington (5-9, 0-2) its worst loss of the season.
(4) North Carolina 88, Liberty 67: At Chapel Hill, N.C., Latoya Pringle scored a career-high 25 points and had 10 rebounds to lead the Tar Heels (13-1) past the Lady Flames (11-2).
Rashanda McCants added 12 points for North Carolina. Reserve Italee Lucas chipped in with 11.
(5) Maryland 98, University of Maryland (Baltimore County) 56: At College Park, MD, Marissa Coleman scored 18 points and the Terrapins (16-1) made an ACC-record 17 3-pointers in a rout of the Retrievers (4-9).
(6) Rutgers 70, Temple 34: At Piscataway, N.J., Epiphanny Prince scored 20 points and the Scarlet Knights (9-2) held the Owls (7-7) to just one field goal over the last 15:44 of the first half in an easy victory for Rutgers.
(7) Georgia 70, Florida International 56: At Miami, Ashley Houts scored a career-high 24 points and the Bulldogs (12-0) remained undefeated, beating the Golden Panthers (4-9) to win the FIU Sun & Fun Classic.
(8) LSU 73, New Orleans 46: At Baton Rouge, La., Quianna Chaney scored 14 points and RaShonta LeBlanc added 12 to lead the Tigers (10-3) over the Lady Privateers (7-5).
(9) Oklahoma 95, South Carolina 63: At Norman, Okla., freshman Danielle Robinson scored a career-high 20 points to go with six assists and Courtney Paris kept her double-double streak alive to help the Sooners (9-2) rout the Gamecocks (9-4).
(10) Baylor 76, Rice 51: At Waco, Texas, Angela Tisdale scored 18 points, Rachel Allison had 17 points and 10 rebounds and the Bears (10-1) defeated the Owls (7-7).

(11) California 99, Washington State 44: At Berkeley, Calif., Alexis Gray-Lawson scored 19 points to lead the Golden Bears (11-2, 2-0 Pac-10) to an easy win over the Cougars (3-10, 0-2). Four other players were in double figures for California. Lauren Greif had a season-high 17 points, Devanei Hampton had 13, Kelsey Adrian 12 and Ashley Walker 12. Alexa Price had a career-high 14 points to lead Washington State, hitting four of eight three-pointers.
Pacific 63, Idaho 52: At Stockton, Calif., Karen Dawkins scored 25 points to lead the Tigers (5-8) past the Vandals (1-11) in non-conference play. Lindsey Koppen scored 11 points to lead Idaho.
Whitworth 83, Great Falls 73: At Great Falls, Mont., Molly Schlander led four players in double figures to lead the Pirates (5-4) to victory over the Argonauts (7-7). Natalie Orrell added 15 points, Alida Bower 13, and Tiffany Corigliano 12 for Whitworth. Laura Keaster scored 15 to lead Great Falls.
