Brink not the guy at WSU

Not another year on the BRINK of disaster. Why can’t Washington State football coach Bill Doba and quarterback coach Timm Rosenbach understand Alex “Blink” Brink is a lost cause? He is probably a good practice quarterback, but has not shown he is a game competitor. I, just like the ESPN2 commentators, could not believe the re-insertion of Blink after the successful Gary Rogers series. It made no sense.

WSU’s problems may not be talent. It may be coaching and the correct use of the talent available. If coaches Doba and Rosenbach viewed the offensive game films and did not have the urge to vomit at “their decisions and lack of creative offensive schemes,” we have a problem. If that’s what we can expect from Doba, the staff (except for coach Robb Akey) and QB need to be replaced now.
