Medicine Hat will test Chiefs’ healthy record

The Spokane Chiefs return to Western Hockey League action tonight after a busy weekend that saw them play three games in three nights – and capture five of six points.

Spokane (5-2-2, 12 points) will face a stern test in hosting Central Division-leading Medicine Hat (7-3, 14). The Tigers are ranked eighth in the most recent Canadian Hockey League poll.

The Chiefs are third in the U.S. Division standings and five of their games have been played against teams ranked in the CHL’s top 10.
