‘Jihad’ to be published in November

“Inside the Jihad,” an insider’s account of Al-Qaida, will be published in November by Basic Books.

The author, writing under the pseudonym Omar Nasiri, tells how he got involved in Europe’s burgeoning terrorist underground and later became a spy for a leading Western intelligence service.

“In this book, Nasiri offers a unique and chilling perspective on both the rise of Al-Qaida and the intelligence services that struggle to contain it,” Basic says.
