Arends-Hilsen

Arianna Hilsen and David Arends, both of St. Paul, Minn., plan to marry Dec. 30.

Hilsen is the daughter of Tom and Jayme Hilsen, Deer Park. Arends is the son of Jim and Lynn Arends, La Crescent, Minn.

A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Hilsen is a student at Luther Seminary in St. Paul. Arends, a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth, also is a student at Luther Seminary.

Barnhart-Balmes

Anna Balmes, Spokane, and Jason Barnhart, Post Falls, plan to marry Feb. 24.

Richard and Shannon Balmes, Spokane, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Jeff and Shelly Barnhart, Rathdrum, Idaho.

Balmes graduated from West Valley High School and works at Starbucks in Liberty Lake. A graduate of Lakeland High School, Barnhart works at First Choice Framing Construction.

McHardy-Welch

Andrea Welch and Ryan McHardy, both of Sultan, Wash., plan to marry June 23.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike Coe and Lucy Welch, Spokane, and the late James Welch. The groom-to-be is the son of Brian and Susan McHardy, Monroe, Wash.

Welch, a graduate of the University of Montana, is employed at Olympic Tree Nursery in Woodinville, Wash. McHardy is employed at Barn Pros Equestrian Facilities in Monroe.

Carr-Hissom

Jamie Hissom and Kevin Carr, both of Grants Pass, Ore., plan to marry Aug. 31.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charlie and Paula Hissom, Spokane. Steve and Kim Carr, Beaver, Ore., are the parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of Mead High School, Hissom is a nursing student at Rogue Community College in Grants Pass. Carr is a graduate Nestucca High School in Cloverdale, Ore., is employed with Ross Brothers Construction.
