Sale will aid St. John’s Cathedral

Shopping at a special sale Friday and Saturday will benefit projects at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral. The sale is at the Windfall thrift shop, 1024 S. Perry St. You can fill a bag with items and buy the whole thing for $5.

Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Friday and noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

“The Community Assembly Land Use Committee meeting for all neighborhoods will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today in the City Hall fifth-floor conference room, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

“The West Hills Neighborhood Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Westcliff Condominiums, 1311 S. Westcliff Place.

“The Browne’s Addition Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Roberts Mansion, First Avenue and Cannon Street.

“The Manito/Cannon Hill Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. next Thursday at Wilson Elementary School, 911 W. 25th Ave. Agenda items include an update on Comstock Pool, a report from the Development and Historic Incentives Program and a report on the multifamily tax-exemption program.
