Lloyd and Frances Portz will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

Their children and spouses are: Don and Judy Jonas, Everett; John and Gwen Shuba, Spokane; Jim and Tammi Portz, Keller, Texas; Ted and Becky Szelag, Spokane Valley; and Kathleen Dixon, Rochester, Wash.

The couple were married Nov. 29, 1941, in Stillwater, Minn. They have 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
