Winter Festival – The annual event hosted at the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge includes elk tours, a presentation by the Washington State University raptor rehabilitation program, refreshments and live music, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 2 at the refuge, located three miles south of Cheney on Cheney-Plaza Road. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds benefiting the environmental education programs on the refuge.
