Idaho sports lacking

The Spokesman-Review

I receive The Idaho Spokesman- Review and enjoy the fair amount of Idaho-related news in your paper, but the sports section obviously is all The Washington Spokesman-Review.

Unlike your sports department, not everyone in Idaho is a “Coug” fan. The huge colorful article on the front page of last Sunday’s paper of WSU’s latest loss in a ho-hum season was way overdone.

How about some fair and equitable press space for the 10-0 Boise State Broncos? I watched this team win over San Jose State on TV and couldn’t believe what a good, close game it was and I looked forward to reading about this game the next day.

All I found was a 2-inch article buried deep on Page 10 of the sports section. Yes, Southern Idaho is a far bit away, but it’s still in Idaho, my home state.

Please hire some more Idaho sports writers for your paper so we can read more about Idaho teams in The Idaho Spokesman sports page.
