Tea fundraiser for museum Saturday

The Spokane Valley Heritage Museum will present its Heritage Preservation Award at a fundraiser Saturday to a member of the community who has contributed to the understanding of Spokane Valley history.

The second-annual tea at the museum will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday. The event also will feature dessert, door prizes, raffles and music from the Swinging Grandpas and Mary Lively.

Tickets are $12 with proceeds going to the museum. Call 922-4570 to RSVP.

The museum is located near the southwest corner of Sprague and Pines.
