Spokane overpays for gas

The Spokesman-Review

I cannot help but wonder why gas prices are more expensive for the Spokane community and less for Seattle. There has been a lot of talk about gas prices, but it seems like no one can answer why there is such a difference in the prices.

The gas for Seattle is cheaper, and they make higher wages than we do. They also have a lot more vehicles, and gas companies could make more money.

There are many people in Spokane who have to ride the bus because they cannot afford the gas on their salary when it takes $40 to $60 to fill up their tanks.

So why is there such a big difference in the gas prices? I hope that someone gives a good explanation for what is going on with the gas prices.
