According to event officials, plenty of good seats remain for tonight’s opening round in the West Region of the 2006 NIT Season Tip-Off at the Arena.

“We’re about two-thirds sold out right now,” Arena general manger Kevin Twohig said Monday afternoon.

With Gonzaga involved, many expected both nights to be sold out. But Twohig said he expects only about 7,000 tonight.

Tickets are $35 and $25 per night at the Arena or 325-SEAT.
