Spokane County commission

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. Agenda includes discussion about courthouse security and a presentation about the Fox Theater.

2 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building. Commissioners will consider a proposal to mine gravel on property near Gerlach Road and Freya Street.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. Meeting will include a motion on the transfer of a portion of Heroy Avenue, an update on recreation programs and a discussion of the council’s lobbying goals for the next legislative session.

Spokane Valley Planning Commission

6 p.m. Thursday, City Hall. Meeting includes discussion of the city’s proposed urban growth boundaries, draft shoreline master program and critical areas ordinance.

Spokane Plan Commission

Noon Wednesday, Council briefing center, lower level, City Hall. Workshop and briefing. Hearing at 1:30 p.m. in Council Chambers.

1:30 p.m. Thursday, Intermodal Center, 221 W. First Ave., Suite 310. The agenda includes regional concurrency efforts, street standards and Bridging the Valley.
