Washington scored five runs in its final two at-bats Sunday to rally past Washington State 5-3 in Seattle in the Pac-10 finale for both teams.

The Huskies took the lead in the eighth. Cory Rickard walked and was doubled home by Curt Rindal. Petersen and Stevens then added RBI singles to give UW the victory.

WSU (36-23, 10-14) opened the scoring in the first. Travis Coutre led off with a walk, and Jay Miller’s single put runners at the corners with no outs. Jared Prince hit into a double play that scored Coulter.

The Cougars scored a run in the second without a hit. Three walks and a hit batsman gave WSU a 2-0 lead after two innings.

WSU scored its third run in the top of the seventh, Miller’s sacrifice fly scoring his brother Jeff.
