Somebody Needs You helps match donors with needy Spokane residents. Requests are coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the agency listed below. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

“Single mother with one child lost everything in a fire and needs everything for a household except clothing, beds and dressers. Contact DeeAnn at the YWCA Shelter, 326-2255.

“Low-income grandmother raising grandson needs an electric stove. Contact Raquel or April at Empowering Inc., 768-5886 or 768-2727.

“Low-income mother with one child needs a stroller. Contact Selina at CHAS, 434-0297.

“Low-income single mother with one child needs a twin-size bed. Contact Simone or Dane at Spokane Mental Health, 838-4651, ext. 2193.

“Low-income disabled woman needs a double bed, love seat, dresser, nightstand, end tables, lamps and bookshelves. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.
