Two stabbed after giving ride to attacker
Two men were stabbed early Friday near Avista Utilities in Spokane after agreeing to give another man a ride home, police said.
The assailant slashed one man’s throat and stabbed the other man in the arm, said Spokane police spokesman Sgt. Dave McCabe.
The stab wounds were not life-threatening, but both men were taken to an area hospital.
Police did not find a weapon or a suspect when they responded to East North Crescent and North Center about 2:15 a.m.
The victims and the attacker met first at a gas station at Sharp and Hamilton, McCabe said.
The attacker asked the men for a ride home.
The attacker is described as white, in his early 20s, 6-foot-1 and “chubby.”
He was wearing a yellow and blue striped shirt, khaki pants and a black leather jacket.
Police ask anyone with information about the stabbing to call (509) 242-8477.
