Ben McCracken has been hired as a loan officer in real estate lending at Global Credit Union. He previously worked as a personal banker at Wells Fargo Bank and holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Whitworth College.
Global Credit Union has hired Susan Sprecher as a loan officer in real estate lending. She previously worked as a branch manager at Eagle Home Mortgage Inc. and has 18 years of job-related experience.
Jared McFarland has been hired as an agent at Century 21 Beutler & Associates. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Idaho.
Amy Fritsch has been hired as an assistant account executive at Rockey Hill & Knowlton. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and public relations from Gonzaga University and previously worked at a public relations agency in Bellevue, Wash.
Wells Fargo has hired Frank Houck as a business manager at the Spokane Business Banking Center. He previously worked as a financial adviser for the Business Financial Services department at Merrill Lynch and holds a master’s of business administration degree from Gonzaga University.
Dr. Brent Phinney, an optometrist, has been hired at Northside Vision Center. He is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry.
Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene has hired Gary Schwalbach as an agent. He worked at the Escondico (Calif.) Fire Department for 25 years and will specialize in residential, vacant land and waterfront properties.
Ann Jensen has been hired as a receptionist at Magnuson, McHugh & Co. She previously worked in the health care field.
Keiskell MacGillivray & Associates has hired Kristi Bushnell as a certified accountant on the firm’s consulting staff. She is a graduate of Eastern Washington University.

Cam Buffington has been promoted to chief operating officer at Colmac Industries. He has served the company as vice president since 1996 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Washington University.
Debbie Arbuckle has been promoted to assistant vice president at Sterling Savings Bank. She has been at the bank since early 2005 and previously worked as deposit operations manager.
