WSU needs a change
Thank you to the WSU basketball gods. Dick “Defense” Bennett had to go. You don’t win basketball games with defense unless you score more than your opposition.
You won’t have promising high school talent beating down your door to play boring less-than-50-points defense. And your fan base won’t go to sleep because of the lack of scoring.
Enter Tony Bennett. As a player, Tony had good offensive numbers and will, we hope, create a new excitement for WSU basketball.
If Tony chooses to follow in his father’s footsteps, we who have faithfully watched WSU basketball are doomed to an impending coma.
