Scarlett caught him red-handed
Scarlett Johansson says it was “definitely in poor taste” when fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi groped her on the red carpet at January’s Golden Globe Awards, but she’s willing to forgive him.
Mizrahi, who was doing pre-show interviews for the E! cable channel, created a flap when he grabbed Johansson’s breast, asked Eva Longoria about her bikini wax and peeked down Teri Hatcher‘s dress.
Mizrahi will be back on the red carpet for Sunday’s pre-Oscars broadcast on E!, but Johansson doesn’t plan to attend the ceremony.
Johansson, 21, says she didn’t buy the openly gay Mizrahi’s explanation that he was trying to determine how her dress was put together.
“Like he doesn’t know how a dress works,” she says.
“I’d been prepping for two hours with hair and makeup and getting dressed. And the first interview I do, someone who I have never met before fondles me for his own satisfaction.”
Not fair, Playboy?
Jessica Alba is demanding that Playboy pull its March issue, saying an unauthorized picture of her on the cover may mislead readers into thinking she appears unclothed inside.
The cover shows the 24-year-old “Sin City” star in a bikini, next to the headline “25 Sexiest Celebrities.” Alba also wants an apology and a “monetary settlement.”
A Playboy spokeswoman said Alba was placed on the cover after being chosen “sexiest star of the year” by the magazine’s readers.
It wasn’t Cruise’s pleasure
A projection error – not Tom Cruise – was to blame when Katie Holmes‘ sex scene was missing in a screening of her upcoming movie, “Thank You for Smoking,” according to director Jason Reitman.
There has been speculation that Cruise, Holmes’ fiance, pressured Reitman to remove the scene.
“That’s a fun story. I’d read that story. The problem is that it’s not true,” the director said.
“The problem with ‘projection error’ is that it’s the truth but it sounds like a lie. It sounds an awful lot like ‘wardrobe malfunction.’ “
Rock and a hard place
Kid Rock says it’s Scott Stapp‘s own fault that he lost a sex video showing the two rockers partying with several strippers.
Former Creed singer Stapp said earlier this week that the tape was stolen and advertised on the Internet as part of a plot to sabotage his solo career.
Rock has won a temporary court order preventing it from being distributed or promoted.
“He’s the idiot because it’s out,” says Rock, adding that the incident was the only time he’d met Stapp. “I’m holding him responsible.”
However, he added: “What perfect timing. I got a record coming up. … Maybe I should thank him.”
