Baseball/Softball

Camping/Hiking

June 23-25: Outdoor Parks and Recreation’s first Camp Play. Recreate with your family and discover new outdoor adventures, including sit-on-top kayaking, Dutch oven cooking, tandem biking, a compass scavenger hunt, a class on how to set up proper camp and an interpretive adventure on live owls. Fishing/Hunting

June 16: Kids’ Fishing Day at Bear Lake County Park, from 9 a.m. to midafternoon. White’s Outdoor staff is treating kids younger than 15 (must be accompanied by adult with fishing license). Bring equipment and get help rigging it, or use theirs. Call to preregister. Info: 535-1875.

June 24: An Introduction to Fly Fishing program will be presented from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sandpoint Library. Lester Bevan, who has given lessons on all aspects of fly fishing, will present.

Golf

July 8: Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs will hold the SNAP Benefit Golf Tournament. Registration begins at 6 a.m. with a 7:30 shotgun start. Cost: $70 per person which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and lunch. Info: 456-7111, ext. 242.

Running/Walking
