Summer business seminars planned

CenterPlace, the community center at Mirabeau Point that opened last September, will host seminars this summer for people looking to hone their business skills.

Community Colleges of Spokane has leased classrooms in the building since it opened, and over the next few months it will offer several short-term and single-day seminars directed at professional development.

Topics for managers include personnel, leadership and time management. Computer classes for different skill levels cover the ins and outs of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and other software.
