A research center in Spokane is trying to do something about it.
Washington State University Spokane launched its Sleep Research and Performance Center in 2004; the facility is one of the few in the nation that’s attacking the problem of sleep deprivation through field tests and lab research. The center will launch a field test this summer at Spokane’s HollisterStier Laboratories.
