Notes: Coeur d’Alene and Lake City played three of the state qualifiers. LC opened the season with a 54-37 loss at Borah. LC beat Eagle 51-45 before being humbled 56-38 by Centennial. CdA lost 48-24 to Borah and 43-40 to Centennial and hammered Eagle 51-30. … Boise got off to an 11-0 start before going 8-4 the second half of the year. Picked to win the Southern Idaho Conference, Boise took third behind league champ Centennial and runner-up Borah. … CdA coach Dale Poffenroth suspects Centennial is the favorite. “They won their league,” he said. “We played them right to the end.”
