No. 2 Duke rolls to win over Virginia

Mistie Williams scored 16 points and second-ranked Duke (22-1, 9-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) staked its claim to No. 1 with an 88-65 win over Virginia (13-9, 2-8) on Friday in Durham, N.C.

Lindsey Harding added 12 points and five assists for the Blue Devils, who moved into a tie atop the league with top-ranked North Carolina and sixth-ranked Maryland. With the Terrapins’ win over the Tar Heels on Thursday night, the Blue Devils are poised to return to No. 1 for the second time this season.
