Dear Heloise: This is a hint about taking a shower after surgery. Make sure you have a hand-held shower head, a bathtub stool and a long-handled, soft-bristled back brush. Have your soap and lotions within reach when sitting down. The back brush can be used to wash your legs and feet with a minimum of reaching and bending.
