Junior wrestling sign-up scheduled Jan. 16

Registration for Spokane Junior Wrestling is Jan. 16 from 6 to 7 p.m.

The developmental wrestling program is for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Practices are limited to two evenings a week, with four Saturday tournaments in March.

Cost is $45, which includes tournament fees, T-shirt, officials, awards and insurance. Required club singlets cost $15 used or $25 new.

Participants are asked to register at their district high school. The schools are Central Valley, East Valley, Ferris, Gonzaga Prep, Lewis and Clark, Mead, Mt. Spokane, North Central, Rogers, University and West Valley.
