Caffe Liberté closes

The Spokesman-Review

After being open about a year, Liberty Lake’s premier bungalow-themed eatery has closed.

A recording on Caffe Liberté’s answering machine says, “Regretfully, the cafe is closed for business.”

The message continues: “But, we are excited about new opportunities for the building and continued service to Liberty Lake. Thank you so much for your support.”

The message does not specify those new opportunities for building on Meadowwood Lane, adjacent to an 6 1/2 acre field of weeds and grass. The field will eventually be the home of city hall, a library and community center.
