Reds 6, Astros 3: At Cincinnati, Aaron Harang earned his fourth consecutive victory and the Reds set a club record for wins (17) in April by beating Houston.

Cardinals 2, Nationals 1: At St. Louis, Albert Pujols’ solo home run in the eighth inning carried the Cardinals past Washington.

Giants 3, Diamondbacks 2: At San Francisco, Moises Alou homered leading off the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Giants a victory over Arizona.

Pirates 3, Phillies 2: At Philadelphia, Paul Maholm tossed seven strong innings and Jeromy Burnitz hit a two-run homer to help Pittsburgh beat the Phillies.

Rockies 8, Marlins 7: At Miami, Garrett Atkins homered and drove in three runs to lead Colorado past Florida.

Dodgers 4, Padres 2: At San Diego, Brett Tomko pitched seven strong innings and Los Angeles handed the Padres their fifth straight loss.
