Weiler Memorial Fun Run coming May 13

The sixth annual Weiler Memorial Fun Run (or walk) is set for May 13. The 5K run kicks off at 9 a.m. at Otis Orchards Elementary, 22000 E. Wellesley Ave. Late registration will be available the day of the race for those who arrive beginning at 8 a.m.

The run was established by the Weiler family to remember three family members who died of cancer. The annual run raises money for Cancer Patient Care, an organization that assists cancer patients and their families. In the last five years the run has raised more than $9,200.
