CDA Symphony finale history-making event

The Coeur d’Alene Symphony will make history May 6 with the first performance in North Idaho of Beethoven’s monumental “Symphony No. 9 in D minor.”

Under the baton of David Demand, the season-finale concert features soprano Susan Windham, alto Patti Blankenship, tenor Joseph Muir, baritone Steve Mortier, the Northwest Sacred Music Chorale and the North Idaho College Concert Choir. Bizet’s delightful “First Symphony” will also be performed.

The concert is at 7:30 p.m. in North Idaho College’s Schuler Auditorium and is sponsored by Tom and Sheila Richards, Vicki Markizon, Craig and Joyce Sullivan and Wells Fargo Bank
