Share your prom pictures with us

The Spokesman-Review

Has your child recently expressed an unusual interest in looking glamorous?

Has he or she been speaking wistfully of a midnight-blue tux with ruffles, or a little strapless number in black chiffon?

Don’t worry – it’s just a phase. It hits seniors about this time of year as they get ready for the prom.

The Voices would like to help parents commemorate this rite of passage by publishing photos of their dolled-up or decked-out children.

When your teenager steps out of a bedroom and asks, “How does this look?” wipe the mist from your eyes, grab a camera and take a photo for us. We’ll publish some in the Voice’s June 8 Graduation Edition, and the rest online so far-flung relatives can also enjoy them.

We’ll need all photos in hand by May 31.

And, this is crucial: Tell us the names of who took the picture, everyone in the photo, what school they attend and what grade they are in. Also provide a phone number where we can reach you.

Digital photos may be e-mailed to richardmi@spokesman.com. Regular photos may be mailed to Richard Miller, Voice Editor, 999 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA 99201. Let us know if you want them back.
