Greater Spokane League: Taylor Yonago netted four goals as Ferris edged visiting North Central 5-4. Erick Hauck added a goal and two assists for the Saxons (10-2, 10-2). James Matern and Travis Greene both had a goal and an assist for the Indians (11-4, 8-4). … Cameron Bushey opened the scoring at the 45-minute mark as Mead posted a 3-0 win at Mt. Spokane (6-8, 5-7). Bushey received a long pass from goalkeeper Jason Gass on the score. Aaron Malmoe and Travis Tully also netted goals for the Panthers (11-2, 11-1). … Caleb Johnson scored at the 71-minute mark as visiting Cheney blanked Lewis and Clark 1-0 at Hart Field. Johnson netted the game winner for the Blackhawks (11-4, 9-3) after receiving a pass via Adam Zakrezeski’s corner kick. The Tigers’ (6-7, 6-6) Galen Gorski of the Tigers (6-7, 6-6) had a chance to tie the game with 2 minutes remaining, but his breakaway attempt was stopped by goalkeeper Josh Hooley. … Cole Abramson scored a pair of goals as visiting East Valley posted a 5-0 shutout over Rogers (1-13, 0-12). Jeremy Jacobs added a goal and an assist, and Ben Funkhouser scored on a penalty kick for the Knights (11-1, 11-1). Great Northern League: Ryan Druffel struck out seven while giving up one hit in a near-perfect game as Pullman stayed at the top of the standings with a 1-0 win over visiting Riverside (10-7, 8-7). Jamie Fertakis won the game for the Greyhounds (9-3, 8-3) with an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh. With two outs in the seventh, the Rams’ Grady Ryan broke Druffel’s bid for a perfect game by knocking a triple to right field. … Tony Smith struck out six in six innings as Lakeside rolled by host Chewelah 7-2. Smith also went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Cody Reeves added three hits with a run and Jake Graham contributed a pair of hits and two RBIs for the Eagles (10-5, 10-4). Cody Naccarato picked up a pair of hits for the Cougars (2-12, 2-10).

Softball

Greater Spokane League: Stefani Siddoway hit a solo shot in a four-run third inning as Central Valley (11-3, 11-3) won at Clarkston 7-4. Flori Rockstrom went 3 for 4 with three RBIs for the Bears. Tara Ruark had two doubles and two RBIs for the Bantams (10-5, 9-5).
