Either way, we’re sure she’s happy

Angelina Jolie talks publicly about her relationship with Brad Pitt for the first time on this morning’s “Today” show – sort of.

“I don’t talk about our – my relationship in public. But we also don’t talk about it at home,” Jolie tells NBC’s Ann Curry in an interview from Namibia, Africa, where she and Pitt are awaiting the birth of their first child.

“It’s one of those funny things that just happens, and you live your life, and you’re a family. But you never actually discuss (it).”

Jolie, 30, does reveal she’s not quite eight months pregnant, contradicting tabloid reports that she’s due as early as next week.

But while she knows the gender of the child, she won’t say whether her two adopted children – son Maddox, 4, and daughter Zahara, 1 – can expect a brother or a sister.

Cutting her losses

“Lost” star Michelle Rodriguez has surrendered to begin a five-day jail sentence for drunken driving in Hawaii.

Rodriguez opted for jail time and a $500 fine rather than 240 hours of community service.

She and fellow cast member Cynthia Watros were both charged with drunken driving after they were pulled over Dec. 1 in separate cars within 15 minutes of each other. Watros was fined $312, ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and 14 hours of counseling, and had her license suspended for 90 days.

Does she use it daily?

Chanel has selected “Pride & Prejudice” star Keira Knightley as the new face of its Coco Mademoiselle fragrance starting next year.

Knightley, 21, succeeds British supermodel Kate Moss, who had starred in the ads since 2002. Moss lost several high-profile modeling contracts last year after a tabloid published pictures of her allegedly using cocaine.

Hey, look up his sleeve

David Copperfield magically escaped getting robbed.

The 49-year-old illusionist was walking with two female assistants to their tour bus after his show Sunday in West Palm Beach, Fla., when two armed robbers got out of a car.

While the women forked over cash, Copperfield turned his pockets inside out to reveal nothing in them – even though he was carrying his passport, wallet and cell phone.

“Call it reverse pickpocketing,” he says.

Her bulb seemed dimmer

Teri Hatcher suffered a scratched cornea when a light bulb exploded on the set of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.”

“I was taken to a wonderful eye doctor, and am now wearing a most glamorous eye patch over the right half of my face,” Hatcher says.

Love that tender

It’s no surprise to see Dolly Parton in a new TV commercial promoting Tennessee tourism.

But when the camera pans to the driver of the red Corvette she’s riding in, it’s none other than native son Elvis Presley, digitally extracted from his 1967 movie “Clambake.”

“Next time,” she tells him, “let’s take the pink Cadillac.”
