Moose Jaw triumphs

The Medicine Hat Tigers suffered their first loss of the postseason on Friday with a 3-2 setback against the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors, who took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 Western Hockey League Eastern Conference final.

Former Spokane Chief Steve Gillen had the game-winner for Moose Jaw.

In the Western Conference opener, Spencer Machacek scored twice and host Vancouver defeated Everett 4-2.
