91 plants seized in marijuana bust

A Priest Lake, Idaho, man was arrested following a pot bust in nearby Nordman on Thursday.

Authorities seized 91 marijuana plants and two pounds of packaged marijuana, the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Friday.

Theodore P. Mann was booked into the Bonner County Jail for felony manufacturing marijuana. Authorities are looking for another unnamed suspect in the case, the release said.

The Drug Enforcement Agency was involved in the raid.

EWU survey starts Monday

Starting Monday, Eastern Washington University is launching an online survey of the school’s image, as part of its enrollment and marketing efforts.

The survey is intended to gather the views of faculty, staff and students, as well as Spokane area residents.

The survey takes about seven minutes to complete and is available at www.ewu.edu/ imagesurvey.

The school intends to use results to shape its marketing plans in an era when competition for students is expected to increase, EWU said in a news release.

It will also help new President Rodolfo Arevalo as he settles into his new job.

The survey includes a contest to come up with a new “tagline” for the university.
