Timothy Ott reported Thursday the $886 theft of a backpack containing a handgun and camping equipment from his pickup parked at his home on the 600 block of W. Hubbard Ave.

Desirae Bright reported Sunday the $1,700 theft of a 1994 Pontiac Sunfire from her home on the 1300 block of N. 10th St.

Kootenai County sheriff

Austin Smith, Hayden, reported Sunday the $1,100 theft of a guitar from a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup parked at his home on the 400 block of E. Dakota Ave.

Brenda Locken, Post Falls, reported Saturday $3,000 damage by spray paint to two pickups parked at her home on the 1300 block of Glasgow Drive.

Jerry Hanson, Coeur d’Alene, reported Friday $1,000 damage to trees on his property on the 9200 block of S. Tall Pines Road near Coeur d’Alene.
