Discount Blood Tests – The Dirne Community Health Center, 920 W. Ironwood Drive, Coeur d’Alene, is offering a full panel of blood tests for $35 through April 26, 7:30-10 a.m. The results will be available at the Dirne Center’s health fair at North Idaho College April 29, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Student Union Building. Free Developmental Screenings – For infants and toddlers under age 3 living in Spokane County. Screenings include: language, physical strength and coordination, vision, hearing, feeding and behavior. Sports Asthma Night – Allergy specialist Dr. Kerry Drain will present information about asthma prevention and management, Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. at U-District Physical Therapy, 125 S. Cowley. Call 458-7686 to register.

The “Eyes” Have It – This HealthTalk will discuss how changes in the eyes can help diagnose thyroid disease, diabetes and hypertension, circulatory problems and stroke, Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Second Floor Conference Room of Rockwood Clinic, 400 E. Know Your Healthy Nutrition – This class will guide you through better diabetes management, Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Deaconess Health Education Center, 800 W. Fifth Ave. Participants will receive a free Bayer testing meter. Registration is required. Call the CHER office at 232-8145.

American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor Class – Friday through Sunday at the Gladish Red Cross office, 115 N.W. State St., Pullman. The cost is $165 a person. Call (509) 332-2304.

Educational Program for those with Parkinson’s Disease – The Parkinson’s Resource Center of Spokane will present this educational event that includes information booths and speakers, Saturday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at Rockwood Clinic, 400 E. Alcohol and Drug Information School – For any Washington State driver who has been assessed for alcohol and drug information school. This seminar is facilitated by Robbin Hansen, a Washington state certified chemical dependency professional. Participants can earn a certificate of completion to present to the Department of Licensing. Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at CenterPlace at Mirabeau, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley.
