Aaron Bruning reported Sunday the $1,492 theft of two Stihl chainsaws from his 1999 Ford pickup parked at his home in the 1000 block of North 15th Street.

Kent Giese, employee of National Auto Plaza, reported Monday the $2,000 theft of a DVD player and $500 damage to the dashboard of a 2000 GMC van parked at the business at 1830 N. Fourth St.

Vivian Madland reported Monday the $2,000 theft of a diamond ring from her home in the 600 block of East Best Avenue.

Shawna Crouch reported Tuesday the $1,000 theft of a bicycle from her home in the 2600 block of North Seventh Street.

Peter Edge reported Tuesday the $320 theft of a CD player and hard drive and $200 damage to the dashboard of a 1991 Nissan pickup parked at Silver Lake Auto, 274 W. Hanley Ave.

Scott Carr, Greenstone Construction, reported Tuesday $500 damage to a window of a home under construction on the 2500 block of East Dumont Road.

Kootenai County sheriff

William Hathaway, Post Falls, reported Tuesday the $300 theft of an air compressor from his home in the 1400 block of West Poleline Avenue.

Karen Moate reported Tuesday $600 damage to a window at her home in the $5,100 block of East Fernan Hill Road.

Shaun Beveridge reported Tuesday $450 damage to two doors and three windows of his home in the 6600 block of East Seltice Way.
