Bright Spots

Back in the mix …

Offensive lineman Dan Rowlands, wide receiver Finas Rabb, tight end Jason Price and defensive end Lance Broadus all returned to practice after missing time this spring with injuries. The Cougars have just two practice sessions left this spring (Thursday afternoon followed by Saturday’s final scrimmage), but getting these players back can’t hurt.

Still a little hazy

… and out of the mix

Two other Cougars sustained injuries in last Saturday’s scrimmage. Defensive tackle Odell Howard has a high ankle sprain and will miss the rest of spring practices, moving Matt Eichelberger onto the first team alongside Aaron Johnson for the week. Wide receiver Michael Bumpus is nursing a fibula bruise that might cost him the rest of the week.
