Woman sought in attempted murder arrested
A woman was arrested Friday evening in connection with the attempted murder of a man during a drug deal, police said.
Nicole M. Brown, 30, was caught about 5:30 p.m. in the front yard of a home in the 2200 block of East Boone, police said. The home is not her residence.
Police allege that on March 21, Brown tried to kill a man who was attempting to buy drugs at a home in the 3200 block of East Fourth Avenue. The man escaped.
The federal Drug Enforcement Administration is handling the case. Four men were arrested in connection with the crime earlier.
Brown faces charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and second-degree assault, according to a press release from the Spokane Police Department.
Bail has been set at $2 million, police said.
