Dirty dozen
The top six and the bottom six heading into Week 5:
Team | Comment |
1. Indianapolis (4-0) | A relatively soft schedule could mean home-field advantage in the AFC. |
2. Philadelphia (3-1) | The best of the NFC as long as McNabb can stand the pain. |
3. San Diego (2-2) | Whatever the Chargers didn’t have the first two weeks (Antonio Gates in Week 1), they certainly have now. |
4. Pittsburgh (2-1) | Another test Monday night in San Diego. |
5. Atlanta (3-1) | Better than anyone but Philly in the NFC. |
6. Cincinnati (4-0) | Playing badly and winning anyway is a good sign. |
27. Chicago (1-2) | The offense is nonexistent. Worse, it’s turnover prone. |
28. Minnesota (1-3) | Supreme underachievers. |
29. Arizona (1-3) | Some of the Cardinals got a little carried away with one win. |
30. Green Bay (0-4) | Brett is still good, but how long can he last? |
31. Houston (0-3) | David Carr, in only his fourth season, might be the most-sacked QB in NFL history. |
32. San Francisco (1-3) | Not only are the 49ers bad, they’re hurting. |
